Thick Film Heater is one of today's most innovation and forward-looking solution for electric heating field.
The thick film heater is comprised of screen-printing dielectrics (5 layers), resistance (palladium-silver), conductor (silver) and isolation glazes on the substrate and sintered 8 times at temperature over 900ºC. 
It can heat water insantly due to the high power (6000W maximum for single heater). 
For applications where space is limited, thick film heater is very advantageous to traditional ones for its compact size.

Structure & Working Principle

1. Core Structure: Using a stainless steel (or copper) disc as the base material, the plates are manufactured via thick-film printing technology. Multiple functional layers are sequentially printed on the surface: an insulating dielectric layer, a resistive heating layer, a conductive electrode layer, and a protective coating. The blue sections in the image represent the insulating layer, the dark lines are the resistive heating circuits, and the white pads on the right are the electrode terminals for power connection.
2. Working Principle: When energized, the resistive layer generates planar heat, which is transferred directly to the contact medium (e.g., water) through the base material. This achieves fully isolated heating between electricity and water.
