The J type thermocouple is another type of thermocouple commonly used for temperature measurement. It is made of two different types of metals, iron and constantan, that are joined together to form a junction.
Like other thermocouples, when the junction is exposed to a temperature difference, a voltage is generated across the junction, which can be measured and used to determine the temperature.
